Simplified Chinese Pokemon (宝可梦, 'bǎo kě mèng') started being printed in 2022 in Mainland China, after the Pokemon company gained official licences. Nearly all Simplified Chinese products are unique and exclusive – only currated for Mainland China.
As well as the Chinese exclusives, Simplified Chinese Pokemon has been playing catch up with the mainline Pokemon franchise, and so has been releasing sets that are a combinaton of already printed product.
S-Chinese Pokemon have multiple different types of booster box and booster pack sizes. This has also changed over time, with older and newer sets having different ‘fat’ and ‘skinny’ boxes.
Currently, main sets (example: CS5AC, CS5BC) have:
Skinny boxes: 24 packs of 5 cards.
Fat: 6 packs of 25 cards.
Middle sets (CS4.5C) have:
20 packs of 6 Cards.
Older Sets (CS2AC+CS2BC and before):
Skinny: 30 packs of 5 cards
Fat: 24 packs of 25 cards
